The faults we see most often: not cooling (usually low refrigerant from a slow leak, or a failed capacitor); strange noises (worn fan bearings or a loose blower); water leaking inside (blocked condensate drain — almost always fixable in 30 minutes); the system trips the breaker (compressor short, capacitor failure, or a faulty contactor); and the controller showing an error code (which we'll decode on the phone before we come out).

On site, our technician performs a full diagnosis (pressure check, electrical test, controller readout) and provides a written fixed-price quote for the repair before any work starts. You decide whether to proceed.

If the repair is straightforward — capacitor, contactor, fan motor, control board, drain flush — we usually carry the parts on the van and finish the same visit. For specialist parts (Daikin inverter boards, ActronAir zone controllers, Brivis cooler pumps) we'll order them in and return, typically within 2–3 working days.

We'll always tell you when a repair makes sense and when it doesn't. As a rough rule: if your system is under 8 years old and the repair is under 30% of replacement cost, repair. If it's over 12 years old, leaking refrigerant or facing a compressor swap, replacement is almost always the smarter spend — modern inverter systems use 30–50% less power, and you'll recover the difference within a few Perth summers.
